One more illustration of how our border is out of control was the information about “known gotaways” that U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) recently provided to Fox News. These “gotaways” are illegal aliens who manage to escape apprehension after being detected by Border Patrol agents.
Since October 1, the beginning of the new fiscal year, CBP says that 23,000 of these illegal border crossers have successfully made their way into the U.S. That’s been approximately one thousand per day.
