A study in Denmark found that diversity brought about by immigration is not a strength, but a weakness. Conducted by professors at the University of Copenhagen and Aarhus University, it found, in the words of one of those researchers, that “[T]he overall negative relationship between residential ethnic diversity and social trust is statistically significant and holds up when conditioning on a range of potential confounders and moderators.”
