Chinese Illegals Arrive by Sea — in Florida

Think of Chinese illegals arriving by sea and you probably conjure up images of tramp steamers sailing into a foggy nighttime San Franciso Bay. Yet, last week 17 illegal immigrants from China and three from Ecuador landed their boat at Key Largo — just about the sunshine capital of the world. All the Ecuadorian nationals were men; 11 of the Chinese nationals were men and six were women.

Rep. Carlos Gimenez (R-FL), whose district includes Key Largo, is demanding more information about these illegal migrants, especially the Chinese. Gimenez told Fox News Digital in an interview on Friday:

We don’t know why they’re here, or where they’re going, or what their purpose is. So yeah, that should concern all Americans as the world becomes less and less safe under the Biden administration. Nothing surprises me now with the Biden administration… We have a growing presence of China in the Bahamas. We know that we have a growing presence of China in Cuba and around central South America. Now, why you have these – mostly men, military aged men – from China coming trying to get into the United States, sneak into the United States, that kind of worries me.

The illegals were turned over to the CBP. As usual, there no indication has been forthcoming regarding the disposition of their cases.
