House to Vote on Brief against Amnesty
The House will vote on whether to file a friend-of-the-court brief with the Supreme Court to condemn President Obama's executive decree of amnesty for illegal aliens. The Court is expected to rule on the decree sometime this spring or summer. In contrast, over the same time period the number of immigrants working is up by 1.8 million." Many of these Americans have given up looking for work, CIS notes, but they are not officially counted as unemployed.
Senators Offer Bill to Deport Minors
Sen. Jeff Session (R-AL) and Sen. Not surprisingly, in recent months the number of purported unaccompanied alien children crossing our southern border has more than doubled. Our nation’s schools, hospitals, and social services are facing massive, unsustainable strain.”
Nearly Sixty Percent of Criminal Aliens Not Deported
In fiscal 2015 Immigration and Customs Enforcement identified 152,393 illegal aliens in detention as criminal threats.
