Fox News correspondent Matt Finn reported that a portion of American territory in New Mexico is no longer under U.S. control. On X (Twitter) he posted “Unbelievable. A Border Patrol agent in Sunland Park, NM just told us a mountain in the United States is ‘not ours’ anymore. ‘It’s theirs.’ Referring to Cartels. We literally spent five minutes on Mt. Cristo Rey and a group of illegals breezed by.”
Finn continued, “Mind blowing illegal immigration activity again today at Mt. Cristo Rey in New Mexico. Its [sic] swarming with scouts and coyotes, some masked, who are freely and openly transporting groups of illegals. In broad daylight. A business.”
This account and many others confirm that armed Mexican drug cartels have seized American land for the purpose of moving illegal aliens and drugs into our county. The cartels are de facto governments which hold sway over large areas of Mexico as they push their influence into our country.
The state of Texas maintains that the cartel-assisted flow of illegal aliens across our border constitutes an invasion. The Constitution requires federal government to protect states from invading forces. The Biden Administration denies that the crisis on the border is an invasion.
Nevertheless, what else is it when hostile foreign powers are seizing American territory as beachheads for directing masses of lawbreakers into our country? The Administration doesn’t seem to notice or care. Rather than deploy troops to protect our country, it seems more intent on military involvement in Europe and the Middle East.
