House Speaker John Boehner (R-OH) on Monday warned Pres. Obama that any more executive orders on immigration would kill the chances of passing immigration legislation. “That will make it almost impossible to ever do immigration reform because he will spoil the well to the point where no one will trust him by giving him a new law that he will implement of the way Congress intended,” he said in an interview on Fox News.
Asked if the Jeb Bush statements about illegal immigration by Mexicans being done out of “love” and “commitment to your family” and “a different kind of crime” would be a deal breaker should Bush run for president, Boehner replied, “I do not.”
