Biden to Deportees: Come Back, Forgive Us!

The Biden administration is now reaching out to previously deported illegals and paying for their airfare to return to the U.S. to receive the apologies of a regretful nation.

On Tuesday of this week, National Public Radio reported on the cases of Claudio Rojas of Argentina and Jean Montrevil of Haiti, both of whom had been deported during the Trump administration. Each had been deported–in 2019 and 2018, respectively–after living illegally in the U.S. for many years. (Rojas had lived here for 19 years, Montrevil for more than 10.)

Both Rojas and Montrevil had made names for themselves as immigration activists while living openly as illegal residents. They blamed their deportations on ICE retaliation for their openness, and DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas agreed, stating in September:

We have an obligation to protect the civil rights and civil liberties of every individual irrespective of their immigration status. An individual’s race, religion, national origin and exercise of their First Amendment rights cannot be a factor in deciding to take enforcement action.

And we bet you thought those guaranteed rights were the benefits of citizenship!

Mayorkas has since issued guidelines that prevent illegal residents from being arrested at protests, rehab facilities, homeless shelters, schools, parks, places of worship, hospitals, rallies, parades, and any place he and Joe Biden don’t want them arrested, which is pretty much any place at all.

You, on the other hand, as a citizen can be arrested anywhere.
