Fact Check of Above Quote: Illegal alien advocates ludicrously try to pose as poor “beleaguered” people who stand up to a powerful oppressive Establishment. The truth is that the powers-that-be are mainly on their side. The advocates serve as tools for those powers. The Biden Administration has given them an almost wide-open border, and termination of Title 42 will complete the process. The administration kept Title 42, while weakening its enforcement, simply because no one (aside for the so-called “experts” cited in the article) could justify removing this measure entirely during a pandemic. The “beleaguered” alien advocates now bemoan their plight of having to wait a whole month before Title 42 is gone.
Illegal aliens and their supporters have increasingly employed bogus asylum claims as a strategy to overwhelm our border. Title 42 has helped to combat this fraud by expediting removal of illegals. Even though the pandemic has subsided, the need for a provision like Title 42 to secure the border is greater than ever. Without it, we will certainly face a major new surge of illegal immigration.
