Afghani Resettlements Continue Despite Concerns

The resettlement of so-called Afghani “refugees” by the administration continues apace, in spite of growing concerns regarding the efficacy of the vetting process.

Consider the following:

  • A group of male Afghan evacuees assault a female servicemember at Fort Bliss, New Mexico. (NPR)
  • Afghan evacuee sexually assaults young boys at Fort McCoy, Wisconsin. (Wisconsin State Journal)
  • A second Fort McCoy Afghan evacuee beats, strangles, and rapes his own wife. (Milwaukee Journal Sentinel)
  • Older Afghan men bring child “brides” out of Afghanistan to Fort McCoy and other U.S. military bases. (AP)
  • An Afghani convicted rapist is apprehended after reaching the U.S., having made it through the vetting process in Afghanistan. (Washington Times)
  • Another Afghani felon, previously deported from the U.S., is identified after landing in Washington, DC. (Washington Times)

The list goes on, as do the resettlements. Clearly, as one official has described it, the “overseas vetting process sucks.” Yet the resettlements continue and the clueless and short-sighted bleeding hearts, as shown in the photo above, keep the welcome mat out.
