Illegal aliens aren’t just from south of the border and the Caribbean anymore. Illegal immigration is becoming diverse, as word has traveled all over the world that our country is an easy place to slip into and set up residence.
Before the Biden Administration, border crossers from China were relatively rare, with 991 Border Patrol encounters with them in 2018, 2,060 in 2019, and just 323 in 2020, probably due to Covid. During the three years since Biden’s inauguration in 2021, Chinese Border Patrol encounters have totaled more than 50,000. In the San Diego sector of the border, more Chinese illegals are crossing than Mexicans.
