Agents Cleared of ‘Whipping’ Charge

Customs and Border Patrol Protection has cleared Border Patrol agents accused of using their horse reins to “whip” illegal aliens crossing into Texas last year. Specifically, the CBP found” no evidence” that “any agents struck — intentionally or otherwise — any migrant with their reins.” At the time the media falsely portrayed the incident, and President Biden promised that the accused “would pay.”

Nevertheless, the now cleared agents are still under suspension from work. The reason for the continuing suspensions, says National Border Patrol Council President Brandon Judd, is that the administration “is looking to scapegoat them because President Biden was wrong.”
