West Virginia Attorney General Patrick Morrisey maintains that the Biden Administration’s open border policy is allowing the traffic of illegal drugs into his state, which has caused numerous deaths, particularly from the drug fentanyl. Morrisey is now suing the administration to restore the Trump Administration’s “remain in Mexico” policy which promoted border security. Noting the “senseless deaths from fentanyl,” Morrisey notes that he’s “long believed that a lawsuit should not be necessary to force the government to secure our southern border. We spoke out two months ago, yet the administration has failed to respond to our concerns. The border is more porous than ever.”
