A Harvard/Harris poll found that 72 percent of all U.S. voters oppose the issuing of driver’s licenses to illegal aliens. Except for people who identify as “liberals,” the majority of voters in all demographics surveyed by the poll expressed opposition to this idea. That included 74 percent of swing voters, 85 percent of Republicans, 60 percent of Democrats, and 73 percent of self-described “moderates.”
Three-quarters of white voters oppose licenses for illegal aliens, about two-thirds of blacks, and about half of Hispanics.
