The Western States Sheriffs’ Association (WSSA), which represents sheriffs from 17 states, has called for the removal of Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas and his replacement with someone who will “enforce the rule of law.” The WSSA maintains that Mayorkas has systematically undermined immigration law enforcement, thus allowing growing numbers of illegal aliens to enter the U.S. and stay here.
