Conservative Republican Sen. Jeff Sessions (R-AL) and liberal Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) agree that the immigration “reform” bill now before the Senate would harm American workers. Sanders is highly critical of the guest worker provisions of the bill. He maintains that the bill would lower the wages of both middle-class and blue-collar U.S. workers by significantly increasing the admission of foreign guest workers.
