Two illegal alien brothers, Alder Alfonso Sotelo and Arturo Marin Sotelo, are being charged with murder in the death of sheriff’s deputy Ned Byrd, a 13-year veteran of the force, in Wake County, North Carolina.
Wake County is a “sanctuary” country, which means that its officials refuse to assist the efforts of Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) to remove dangerous criminal aliens. The Immigration Reform Law Institute (IRLI) lists Wake County as one of the top ten jurisdictions in the U.S. where sanctuary laws are jeopardizing public safety.
