As a sanctuary state, California refuses to cooperate with federal authorities to remove illegal aliens. It also aids and abets the lawbreaking of illegal aliens who reside in the state (an estimated 3.3 million) by issuing them driver’s licenses. With this ID, they are better able–through fraud–to obtain benefits.
Since 2015, when the license law went into effect, more than one million illegal aliens in California have received licenses.
