Most Afghans Not Vetted

When Afghan refugees began arriving in the United States, the Biden Administration assured Americans that all of them were were thoroughly vetted to screen out terrorists and other criminals. Columnist Michelle Malkin disagrees with this claim. She notes that some of these vetted Afghans have already committed serious crimes in the U.S.

Malkin also observes that vetting people from a country like Afghanistan is extremely difficult if not impossible. In any case, she adds, most of the Afghan refugees were not screened at all. What crimes they commit may be hard to to track. “In my long experience,” says Malkin, “independent efforts to track criminal arrests of refugees and immigrants are stymied by politically correct media whitewashers who obscure the national origin and citizenship status of suspects.”
