Massachusetts is a “sanctuary” state, which means that it refuses to cooperate with federal law enforcement to remove illegal aliens. Partially as the result of this policy, large numbers of illegal aliens are settling in the state, which has placed a great strain on housing and social services.
Alarmed by this situation, Massachusetts Gov. Maura Healey declared: “This is a national issue that demands a national response. Today, I am declaring a state of emergency in Massachusetts.”
One wonders why Ms. Healey is expressing such alarmism. If she would just read the pronouncements of the corporate media, she would understand that masses of illegal aliens are not a problem but an opportunity for Massachusetts to enjoy the vibrancy and rich diversity that illegal aliens always bring–not to mention how they supercharge the economy and bless us with boundless prosperity.
