Rep. Steve King (R-IA) stated that one reason President Obama won the last election was the 1986 illegal alien amnesty. He noted that the three million illegals who got amnesty and citizenship, plus the chain of family members they brought in, contributed significantly the Democratic voter base. He also noted that Republicans should consider this lesson as amnesty is once again before Congress.
