Sen. Ron Johnson (R-WI), discussing a recent trip to the South Texas border, said that under Obama immigration policies illegals seek “capture” by the Border Patrol, knowing they will be released in America.
Johnson told of an illegal alien woman waiting for U.S. Border Patrol buses to pick her and others up, and complaining that it was taking too long to get to the processing center. She also demanded that the officers bring the buses closer to the illegals so they didn’t have to walk so far to be apprehended.
Sen. Johnson said, “They were coming across the border and they wanted to be apprehended so that we would detain them for a couple days, a couple weeks and they would get in the adjudication process and then they would be dispersed around America, knowing full well they would be able to stay.”
