Chris Crane, head of the union representing Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents, said it was irresponsible for President Obama to urge passage of amnesty legislation. “The president,” said Crane, “is in no poistion to demand [this]. His administration and DHS leadership have undermined ICE’s enforcement mission and put the public safety and national security at risk.”
