House Democrats have introduced two amnesty bills. One would give legal status a path to citizenship to 2.5 million illegals in the “Dreamer” category and those in temporary protected status. The other would legalize aliens who claim they have worked in agriculture during the past two years.
Both measures are part of the Biden Administration’s bill to give amnesty to almost all of the 11 million or more illegal aliens now estimated to live in the U.S. Some Democratic strategists believe it will be more feasible to pass limited amnesties, rather than the full package.
