Just when the House Judiciary Committee was issuing a round of subpoenas to high tech industry moguls, YouTube CEO Susan Wojcicki decided it might be good to spend more time with the family. She stepped down this week and handed over the company’s reins to Neal Mohan, hitherto the firm’s Chief Product Officer.
Mohan (a native of Lucknow, India, born either in 1975 or 1976, according to Wikipedia) joins a growing list of Indian-American movers and shakers in U.S. industry and government (Nimarata Randhawa, anyone?), which we’ve commented on from time to time.
The importation of a subcontinental overclass proceeds apace.
Oh, and the title of this post? YouTube itself explains that, if you’re curious.
