Cook County Offers Cash to Illegals

Cook County, Illinois, has launched a guaranteed income pilot program. It will provide a monthly income of $500 a month for two years to 3,250 households below the poverty level. Cook County, which contains parts of Chicago, has five million residents and is the second largest country in the U.S.

The program is available to illegal aliens. The county’s website states that “[I]t is open to all residents of Cook County, regardless of your immigration status. This means that if you are undocumented, or your household is a mixed-status household, and you meet the eligibility [standards], you are eligible to participate.”

The website further encourages applications by illegals by assuring them that their immigration status won’t be reported to immigration authorities.
