We first mentioned the notorious “Colony Ridge” development on May 2, 2023. That huge colonia 40 miles out from Houston, catering primarily to illegal Mexican migrants, consists of more than 30,000 homesites spread across 33,000 acres of recently cleared piney woods Originally homesteaded primarily by Anglos, in recent years it has attracted more and more Spanish-speaking illegals, who are able to purchase lots without providing real identification.
As more and more illegals moved in, the whites moved out, and crime in the area increased. In the spring of 2023, at the time of our posting, a gruesome mass murder of five illegals had just been discovered — by another illegal. Since then, numerous violent crimes and illegal drug seizures have been reported in Colony Ridge, and God only knows how much has gone un-reported.
Yesterday, finally, officials took action against Colony Ridge, as a combine of Texas and Federal agents conducted raids there. Texas Gov. Greg Abbott made the announcement on X:
Colony Ridge is being targeted today.
Texas DPS Troopers & Special Agents are assisting Homeland Security Investigations, with an operation in Colony Ridge this morning.
They are targeting criminals & illegal immigrants.
I have worked with Tom Homan on this for months.
No other details have been provided. Let’s hope this is the beginning of the end for this egregiously criminal development.
