Clinton: A Limit to Migrants?

In a CNN podcast, former President Bill Clinton has admitted that he sees a natural limit to the number of migrants any country can admit: “There is a limit to how many migrants any society can take without severe disruption and assistance. . . .”

The idea appears contrary to current President Biden’s infamous remark during the 2020 presidential campaign: “This country can tolerate a heck of a lot more people.” It is certainly contrary to the open-borders practices Biden has followed since taking office, where at least 2.1 million migrants have arrived and relatively few of whom have left.

According to Fox News, Clinton went on to contrast the current border situation with that during his youth when migrants, primarily Mexican, would come and go across the border to work. Today, huge numbers of refugees are attempting to come–permanently–to America to live. Clinton cites Syria, Ukraine, and Venezuela as sources, which is true enough, but AICFoundation.com readers know that the excess from the entire world–not just those nations–are coming to our southern border as well.

Clinton, being the loyal Democrat, went on to criticize Republican governors Abbott of Texas and DeSantis of Florida for their “stunts” in sending migrants to places like New York City and Martha’s Vineyard.

Nevertheless, the veteran Democrat, by opening the slightest crack in his party’s otherwise unified wall of lunacy, made a little news and got himself mentioned. Maybe that’s all he wanted to do.
