Sanders: Real Unemployment Too High
Commenting on the decline of the "official" unemployment rate, Sen. Bernie Sanders (D-VT) stated, "Let's be honest, real unemployment remains much too high if you add people who don't have any jobs with people who are working part time that want to work full time. You know, anybody who works part time that wants to work full time. A lot of people out there have given up looking for work in high unemployment areas. Real unemployment is over nine percent." Meanwhile, immigration advocates claim we have a labor shortage.
2,OOO Companies Prefer Foreigners
The Center for Immigration Studies has produced a map which pinpoints 2,000 companies that "actively and publically prefer alien workers for at least some jobs." The companies use the use H1-B visas to import these foreign workers.
Non-Citizens Probably Voting
Judicial Watch is a watchdog organization which seeks to expose government corruption. Tom Fitton, its president,says that voting by non-citizens happens in the U.S. He observed that "There [are] 43 million people [in the U.S.] who are not citizens and are ineligible to vote, but a good percentage of them do register to vote. And of those that do some vote. . . . Are we supposed to be so naïve as to think that tens of millions of people are here, present in the United States, and none of them are illegally voting?" Fitton said that voter fraud most likely goes on in states where people don't have to prove citizenship to register and don't require voter ID at the polls.
BP Agent: Border Is in ‘Crisis’
A Border Patrol Agent revealed to Breitbart News that the flow of illegal aliens across the southern born is a "crisis situation." The agent asked to remain anonymous for fear of retaliation from the Obama Administration. He added that "the public's safety is in danger."
U.S. Government ‘Circumvents’ Laws
Chris Cabrera, a Border Patrol agent interviewed on the Laura Ingraham Show, said that the U.S. government is trying "to circumvent [its] own [immigration] laws." He added that "They don’t seem to take it seriously. They seem to look at immigration violations like a traffic ticket, that it’s not really a big deal to them. And it is a big deal, especially for the fact that there are a lot of people coming across with criminal history in the United States."
