Widespread Identity Theft by Illegal aliens

Dale Wilcox, executive director  of the Immigration Law Institute (IRLI), says that identity theft from American citizens by illegal aliens is widespread. Wilcox noted that "Studies have found that it affects children the most.  .  .  [I]llegal aliens prefer to use children's Social Security numbers because [a] child .  .  . won't apply for a loan for years, so the illegal aliens probably won't be caught for decades possibly. A lot of Americans are being harmed by this. These poor kids, when they go to get their first school loan, they've got criminal histories .  .  . and bad credit. This is not a victimless crime."

Czech PM: Immigration Threatens Europe

Czech Prime Minister Andrej Babis charged that the mass immigration now pouring into Europe is a "threat to European civilization." He added that "We do not want to live here in Africa or the Middle East. We have to stop [immigration from those places]." To those European countries that favor an open immigration policy, Babis stated, "If they want to have more Islamic State supporters .  .  . than they have now, that's up to them."

Democrat Threatens ICE

Democrat Congressman Ruben Gallego (AZ) issued a threat against ICE officers. "If you are a government official and you are deporting Americans be warned. When the worm turns you will not be safe because you were just following orders. You do not have to take part in illegal acts ordered by this president's administration." The situation he references involve people who claim to be Americans, but are suspected of having false birth certificates. He offered no proof that ICE agents were knowingly breaking the law.

Americans Do Most Jobs

A common claim of immigration advocates is that there are many jobs Americans won't do. The study, based on government statistics, notes that "Of the 474 civilian occupations, only six are majority immigrant (legal and illegal). These six occupations account for one percent of the total U.S. workforce. Moreover, native-born Americans still compromise 46 percent of workers in these occupations."

Senators Introduce Pro-ICE Resolution

Senators Bill Cassidy (R-LA) and David Perdue (R-GA) have introduced a resolution in the Senate, "Opposing the targeted harassment of U.s. Immigration and customs Enforcement officers and employees and reaffirming the fundamental principle that public services should be provided without discrimination."  The National ICE Council, the union representing ICE employees, thanked the senators for the resolution and noted that "National security, or even basic border security, does not exist without the interior enforcement of a nation’s immigration laws, as the horrific events of 9/11 and indeed terrorist attacks worldwide have proven. With over two million criminal aliens estimated to be currently residing in the U.S., our jails and prisons are already dramatically overcrowded, and local police are often overwhelmed, begging for ICE and its resources to assist in making our communities safer. Those calling for the abolishment of ICE don’t understand the significant threat to our nation’s security and the safety of American communities that their ideas present.”

Rep. King Warns of Violence

Rep. Steve King (R-IA) stated that continued high levels of immigration from Central and South America will jeopardize the safety of Americans. He noted that "[Nine] of the most violent countries in the world [and] sixteen of the top 20 are south of the Rio Grande. [Eighty-one percent] who cross the border illegally are young men. Young men in every society are the most violent segment. Importing millions of this demographic means death for Americans."
