Bush Embraces Illegals, Shuns Victims

George W. Bush, showing his true colors ever more clearly, met with illegal aliens at his GWB Presidential Center on Tuesday, discussing his efforts to sell amnesty to fellow Republicans. Along with wife Laura, Bush met with illegal aliens Gerardo Casas, Rebeca Gurrola, and Dip Patel, all enrollees of former President Obama’s DACA program.

Bush also stressed his efforts to expand legal immigration levels beyond the 1.2 million green cards and 1.5 million temporary work visas given to foreigners annually. He said in a statement:

This is an issue that is dear to our hearts. Most people realize the system is broken, and most people want to solve it for the sake of our security, our economy, and our culture. Take DACA for example — we have all these young talented people who want to create jobs, but it’s hard to create jobs when you are unsure of your future. And reforming the worker program will relieve a lot of tension at the border.

The victims of illegal aliens apparently are not so dear to the Bushes’ hearts. Members of Angel Families–an organization of the survivors of illegal alien crime–told Breitbart they had never been invited to talk with the former president.

One Angel Mom, Agnes Gibboney, whose 29-year-old son Ronald Da Silva was killed by an illegal alien during Bush’s administration asked, “Where were the Bushes when my first-born and only son Ronald da Silva was murdered by a previously deported criminal illegal alien? Where was the concern and compassion for my family, who legally immigrated to the United States?”

Cheryl Wendland, whose friend Corey Cottrell, 39, was killed by an illegal alien in 2019, said, “I’ve never heard of any President, past or present, that has met with our families except for President Trump. I’m disgusted by so many things about the Bush family, but I can’t say I’m surprised.”

Breitbart notes that The George W. Bush Institute has joined with the Chamber of Commerce, the Koch brothers, and others to form the Alliance for a New Immigration Consensus, which lobbies lawmakers to vote for amnesty and increase legal immigration levels.
