Breitbart News is reporting today that the Biden administration is admitting “at least 6,200 border crossers and illegal aliens into American communities every day.”
That number, calculated by the Federation for American Immigration Reform (FAIR), was derived from the numbers admitted by border officials during the month of October (about 105,000) and the number of “got-aways” estimated during that month (about 87,000). Together they add up to 192,000, which, divided by the number of days in October and rounded, provides the 6,200 estimate.
Elsewhere, FAIR estimates that so far during Biden’s tenure, 5.5 million illegal aliens have crossed our borders, 2.4 million of whom were either released by federal authorities or entered the country undetected.
