In Nebraska, FBI and ICE Homeland Security officials have arrested members of a criminal Indian gang accused of engaging in sex, labor, and drug trafficking. The suspects (listed below) operated a series of hotels, motels, and beauty salons that trafficked in illegal aliens. The aliens were forced to live in the ring’s hotels and to pay for their lodging by providing sexual services both to customers and hotel staff.
The arrests were made in 14 business locations and two homes associated with the gang. Ten minors and 17 adult victims were rescued in the process. All of the gang’s victims, as well as the gang members themselves, are apparently in this country illegally, having entered the US from Mexico during the Biden administration.
According to the US Attorney’s office in Nebraska,
Sex trafficking was not only allowed at the hotels according to complaint affidavit allegations, but also encouraged, protected from law enforcement detection, and sex trafficking victims at the hotels were subjected not only to the traditional perpetrators of a sex trafficking scheme but also to hotel management and employees victimizing them as well.
The traffickers are reported to have charged up to $79,000 per migrant to transport illegals from India to the United States. Authorities confiscated more than $565,000 in cash during the arrests.
