North Carolina, whose western portion was in large part wiped out by hurricane Helene, has been the recipient of $750 million of federal tax money since 2021. That money was in no way intended for NC citizens, however; it was exclusively for the care and feeding of refugees sent there by the Biden-Harris administration.
The biggest project funded by the three-quarter-billion-dollar influx is a $536-million program to operate an 800-bed refugee reception center in Greensboro. In addition, another $221 million in grants has been funneled to the NC Department of Health and Human Services and to various religious and non-religious non-profit organizations for added support of refugees. That support includes furnished apartments, assistance obtaining Social Security cards, enrollment in welfare benefits and health care, food, legal services, and employment services.
These services are being provided to 3,462 refugees the government has sent into North Carolina, including 413 from Venezuela, 574 from the Congo, 302 from Burma, and 317 from Afghanistan.
These figures were provided to Breitbart News by a researcher at the RandoLand.us website. The researcher adds that the data does not include tax breaks for migrants, government-backed loans to migrants, the elite philanthropy given to migrants that would otherwise go to Americans, or money give to migrants via the “Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program, the Temporary Assistance for Needy Families program, as well as the various healthcare, training, and education programs.”
Meanwhile, the victims of hurricane Helene have been offered a one-time $750 loan to help them recover.
Does that make it clear who Washington cares about?
