Here They Come Again

Once again, a large caravan of illegals has departed the southern Mexican city of Tapachula, en route to the US border. Numbering about 3,000 and composed mostly of Central and South American nationals, the members of the caravan had reportedly become impatient with accessing the CBP App One. That app, which theoretically can be used remotely from most any third-world, sh*thole country, is designed to expedite illegal border crossings and provide a patina of legality to what would otherwise be baldface criminal trespass.

The impending arrival of the 3,000 at our border represents a rise of illegal traffic, which had moderated somewhat due to some stepped-up border enforcement leading up to election day in the US. Another caravan, also of about 3,000, left Hidalgo in the Mexican state of Chiapas in July. By September, large numbers of migrants were again crossing the southern border, especially near Eagle Pass, Texas. On September 18, a group of 124 migrants from a variety of countries crossed at Normandy, about 16 miles from Eagle Pass. On October 2, another group — numbering 135 — crossed in the same general area. Among that group were 14 persons, from Turkey and China, who were considering to be of “special interest.”

The latest group is said to be escorted by the Mexican National Guard, state police, and an ambulance.

The illegal traffic never ceases.
