Jorge Mario Bergoglio, the far-left pope of the Roman Catholic Church, recently proclaimed that efforts by governments to restrain mass migration are “a grave sin.” To the contrary, to cite one example, it would seem that a far greater sin against the Christian faith is allowing mass immigration to turn Europe into an Islamic continent–which is now happening.
If Bergoglio doesn’t care about that prospect, then perhaps he’s serving an agenda other than the well-being of his purported faith. His advocacy of unchecked mass migration is in perfect synch with the schemes of secular Western elites who want to erase distinct nations in pursuit of global governance.
In any case, not all members of the Catholic hierarchy share Bergoglio’s views. Several are from African countries which are the source of migrants. One is Guinean Cardinal Robert Sarah who stated that it’s wrong to “use the word of God to promote migration.” The proper policy, he affirmed, is “to help people flourish in their culture than to encourage them to come to Europe.”
Too often, Cardinal Sarah observed, migrants end up in Europe “without work or dignity.” He asked, “Is that what the Church wants? . . . this new form of slavery that is mass migration.”
