Data from the Dedicated Dockets program offer strong evidence that most asylum claims by illegal aliens are bogus. The Biden Administration began this program two years ago to fast track border crossers through asylum courts in 300 days.
The Center for Immigration Law and Policy at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) found that 99 percent of Dedicated Dockets applicants in Los Angeles did not have valid asylum claims. Seventy-two percent of them did not show up for their asylum hearings.
Use of phony asylum claims is a scam that illegal aliens increasingly use to bypass immigration law enforcement and establish residence in the U.S. Once here, they believe they can evade deportation. Given the current policies of our government, that is a reasonable assumption.
