The Supreme Court ruled in a 5-4 that places a temporary halt on the Biden Administration’s policy of selectively deciding which immigration laws it wants to enforce and which ones it does not. The court announced that it would begin hearing arguments this fall to make a permanent decision.
The case resulted from a a lawsuit filed by Texas and Louisiana charging that the Biden policy violates the supremacy of Congress to make immigration law.
