Customs and Border Protection (CBP) reported that the massive surge of illegal aliens across our southern border has scarcely abated, with 208,887 “migrant encounters” with authorities. This is just two percent less than the total for July. As a way of comparison, the total of migrant encounters in August of last year, when Trump Administration policies were in place, was only 50,014.
Usually, illegal immigration declines significantly during the summer months because the heat discourages movement across the border. Biden Administration policies give illegal aliens incentive to come despite the heat.
