The Trump Administration announced that will start looking through the records of 55 million foreign visa holders to determine if they have committed violations which could warrant their removal from the U.S.
The State Department said it will “review all available information as part of our vetting, including law enforcement or immigration records or any other information that comes to light after visa issuance indicating a potential ineligibility.”
So far this year he State Department has revoked more than 6,000 student visas. A senior official in the department noted that these people either “expressed support for terrorism” or “broke the law while visiting our country, including records of assault and DUIs.”
Commentator Greg Price commented: “Just imagine what home prices, rents, jobs, wages, insurance rates, hospitals, and traffic would all look like if we didn’t have 55 million visa holders and [millions of] illegals in this country.”
