Mike Rogers, a Republican Senatorial candidate from Michigan, has told Breitbart News that a Chilean gang of illegals in his state is plaguing communities there. Rogers said:
We had an 11-year-old girl raped by an illegal immigrant. . . . [T]hat just happened. There was a minor . . . sexually assaulted . . . in the county where the president was. Not that long ago, we had a murder in West Michigan . . . by an illegal immigrant.
I did about ten [public meetings]. Every single [attendee] had been either themselves, a victim, their neighbors, a victim, or a family member a victim of the southeast criminal gang, car drug cartel, criminal gang, operating illegally.
Rogers said the Chilean gangs were very sophisticated — using police jammers, for example — and that he believes they are in communication with Venezuelan gangs. They burglarize high-end homes in southeast Michigan neighborhoods where they think they’ll find cash or jewelry or other items they can sell. In addition, the state is being menaced by illegal drug distribution networks that bring in deadly fentanyl.
