Unemployment Surges

The official rate of unemployment rose to 14.7 in April, the highest level since he Great depression. The Labor Department said that the rate would have been 20 percent if people out of work for “other reasons” had been classified as unemployed. The official total also does not include people who have left the labor force entirely and those who want full-time employment but can only find part-time work. Meanwhile, our government keeps admitting foreign workers to take American jobs.
