Despite the relaxation of quarantine restrictions in some states, unemployment continues to increase. As of May 21, 38.6 million Americans were seeking unemployment benefits, a total reached after 2.4 million applied for benefits the previous week. Meanwhile, immigration advocates claim we must keep on admitting large numbers of foreign workers.
