The U.N. is proposing that the U.S. accept 250,000 refugees from Muslim countries. U.S. religious organizations, such as the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops and Lutheran Immigration and Refugee Services, probably will work for acceptance of this proposal. These organizations are subsidized by taxpayers to bring refugees to the United States. Soon after the refugees arrive they can apply for welfare and other social services.
