For the time being, at least, Texas can keep its the barrier of buoys it has placed in the Rio Grande to deter illegal aliens from crossing. On Wednesday, as a consequence of a lawsuit by the Biden Justice Department, a U.S. District Court ruled that Texas had to remove the barrier. The court claimed that it was a “threat to human life.”
In appealing the ruling to the 5th U.S. Circuit of Appeals, Texas stated that “no injury from [the barrier] has been reported.” That court placed a stay on the removal until further litigation takes place.
