President Trump says he will try again to end the DACA program for illegal aliens. Former President Obama enacted it unlawfully without the consent of Congress. The Supreme Court recently upheld DACA on procedural grounds without ruling on its illegal status.
Trump stated that he would like to see a ruling on its legality. “As president of the United States,” he affirmed, “I am asking for a legal solution on DACA, not a political one, consistent with the rule of law.”
