Tren de Aragua Gang Spins Off a JV Squad

The Tren de Aragua gang from Venezuela, in the past year having established itself in cities across America and particularly in all five boroughs of NYC, has spun off a sort of junior varsity gang, Los Diablos de la 42 (the Devils of 42nd Street). The gang of about 21, headquartered in the once-grand Roosevelt Hotel, is composed of teens and pre-teens, old enough to commit strong-arm robberies but young enough to be virtually untouchable by the police.

With some members as young as 11, the Diablos have graduated from purse snatchings to gunpoint robberies. So far, the 21 have been involved in at least 50 incidents resulting in arrests, yet all are still running free, threatening tourists and natives alike in areas such as Central Park, Times Square, and on subways.

The gang shows little concern for authority, boasting of their criminal activities on social media using government-issued cellphones.

The Diablos and other blights from the third world are the result of soft-on-crime policies of progressive cities combined with Washington’s open-borders policies. Only mass deportations can rid us of this scourge.
