Tidal Wave of Young Illegals Pour Across Border for Amnesty

Responding to the policies of the Obama regime, tens of thousands of children unaccompanied by parents or relatives are flooding across the southern U.S. border, creating a humanitarian and budget crisis.  An estimated 60,000 such children will arrive this year, up from about 6,000 in 2011.

The invasion is expected to grow.  The number of unaccompanied illegals under age 18 will likely double in 2015 to nearly 130,000 and cost U.S. taxpayers $2 billion, up from $868 million this year, according to administration estimates. The shortage for housing apprehended illegal alien minors is already so acute that an emergency shelter at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio has been opened and can accommodate 1,000 of them.

The young illegals, mainly from Mexico, Honduras, El Salvador and Guatemala, have heard of the DREAM amnesty edict, reduced deportations, lax asylum standards and pending mass amnesty legislation under Obama and have responded with their feet.  The numbers of illegal alien minors referred to are only those that are caught.  Many more make it across the border and into the interior of the U.S. where they are safe from deportation under Obama regime policies.
