The national Chamber of Commerce wants a massive increase in immigration in pursuit of its long-standing agenda of cheap labor. The Chamber’s CEO Suzanne Clark, in her recent annual address, called for our country’s yearly rate of immigration, now at one million, to be doubled to two million. She also wants an amnesty for millions of illegal aliens and an expanded guest worker program.
Clark expressed no concern about the impact of immigration on Americans’ wages. Breitbart writer John Binder notes that “Between 1979 and 2013, wage growth for the bottom 90 percent of Americans grew just 15 percent. Meanwhile, wage growth for the top one percent of Americans was nearly 140 percent higher.”
