The migrant caravan we recently reported, around 2,000 persons, is still in its way to our border. Some of these aspiring illegal aliens openly state that they want to make it across before a new administration possibly comes to Washington.
One of them, Joel Zambrano, a Venezuelan national, said “That is what makes us fearful. They say this could change because they could both close the CBP One appointment and all the services that are helping migrants.”
CBP One is a scheme devised by the Biden Administration to admit migrants into the U.S on the basis of their usually bogus asylum claims. Since the program began, 800,000 foreign nationals have taken advantage of it. Another 500,000 have entered under a similar program, CHNV, which grants U.S. residence to Cubans, Haitians, Nicaraguans, and Venezuelans.
The administration’s claim that it has reduced illegal immigration derives to a large extent from giving questionable legal status to illegal aliens through CBP One and CHNV.
