TdA Gangmembers Seize Control of Texas Detention Facility

Tren de Aragua gangmembers being held at an ICE detention facility in Dallas, Texas, have barricaded themselves inside the facility and threatened to take hostages among the guards. According to DHS, the nearly two dozen suspected gangbangers have “barricaded the doors of their unit with their cots, covered surveillance cameras, blocked windows, and flooded the unit by clogging the toilets.” The alleged TdA members are begging to be sent home and have flashed a banner reading “Help, we want to be deported. We are not terrorists.”

Such denials are dismissed by authorities. Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin said in a statement:

The media repeated these TdA gang members’ false sob stories, but the truth is these are members of a foreign terrorist organization that rape, maim, and murder for sport.

The inmates had been slated to be sent to El Salvador’s CECOT prison, but that move has been temporarily blocked by the Supreme Court.
